Arranging Your Etsy Shop

Did you know that Etsy allows you to arrange your shop basically however you want?  You can send items from the first page to the last page, items from the second page to the seventh page, switch them all around and line them up however you want!

First, click on "Your Etsy", then "Appearance" under "Shop Setup" in the left column, then scroll down and make sure "Rearrange Your Shop" is enabled.

Then go to your shop and click "Rearrange Your Shop".  A box like this will appear:

Then you can send items to other pages and drag and drop your items wherever you want!  This feature is a great tool to direct how buyers look at your shop.  I try to group items together in rows of three similar items.  I'll do a row of cards, a row of necklaces, a row of button bobby pins, and so on.  I mostly only worry about the first page because I have so many pages of items.  Remember to SAVE your changes!

One of my favorite shop arrangements belongs to slubird.  She has hers arranged by color.  Check it out, it's absolutely beautiful and oh so clever!

  5. I love this feature! One bummer thing I didn't realize at first is that it doesn't show your first "rearranged" three items in favorites but the three most recently updated just like it always has. Wish they would change that too! That slubird shop looks fantastic!
