Dude. It's time for a giveaway. Today we will be giving away 2 prints from ClaireandMeDesigns. I know as soon as you visit this shop... you're going to freak out and want to buy everything anyway. Janae owes her Etsy-dom to her sister Rachelle. After moving to Pennsylvania with a three month old baby and no friends, they started talking all of the time on the phone. Rachelle mentioned she wanted to start an Etsy shop. Janae thought she could sell some rag quilts she made.... then the listing began. (She admits she never sold a single rag quilt, though.)
This creative Etsian draws inspiration from her daily life. "One day I realized I had a friend who didn't really like me. I didn't understand why she had nothin good to say about me and yet hung out with me. I wish she could just break up with me. Maybe with a card."
"For my other shop I got pregnant and got a job at a fabric store. I had to pretend to know how to sew and started quilting. Danielle had reflux and I liked decorating cloth diapers to use. I wanted to buy more fabric than I needed so I like making it into things."

Janae's least favorite color is a warm dark purple. She thinks she looks terrible in that color. I look terrible in yellow, but for some reason.... I wear it all of the time! oops. And that song that cheers her up no matter what? "Madonna's 'Like a Prayer'. So good. Every time."
Time for favorites. This is her favorite print. She says this is something she does every time she cooks.
Favorite from the baby store... a real tie. Not a clip on or one sewn onto a bodysuit.
