Rena'e of twisteddelight has been crafting since childhood. When most people got jobs at McDonalds and such in high school, she chose to make jewelry and accessories for people. She owned a boutique in Texas, but had to close it up because of the recession. Lucky for us, her sacrifice led her to Etsy!
She is most inspired by the mini vacations she takes with her family. She & her husband recently took their girls to Cambria, California, and she said the colors there were magnificent.
Just as a little bit of an anti-interview question, I asked Rena'e what her least favorite color was. This was her reponse, "Puke green! Ewwww! Why does that color even exist? It's disgusting." I'm going to have to agree with her on that one!
I also asked her what song, no matter what, always puts a smile on her face. She said that song was "Old Man on the Back Porch" by Presidents of the United States of America. I would have to agree that the Presidents have the magical ability to always put a smile on your face with their music!
Rena'e's favorite thing in her shop is the Green Gables Beanie... she says it's great for when you don't feel like fixing your hair!
